13 Pairs played the Four Ball Cups competition in challenging conditions. No one escaped the very heavy showers but all finished in the dry. The scores were good for the betterball competition.
In 1st place with 44 points and going forward as the Ladies representatives in the Ping competition were Jane Wragg and Niki Wraight.
In 2nd place on countback with 42 points were Lauren Hulston and Sally Andrew.
In 3rd place also with 42 points were Jan Sargeant and Jenny Potter.
In 4th place with 39 points were Angie Chapman and Cheryl Jose.
On Wednesday the Rose between Two Thorns competition was played in conjunction with the Mens section. The winning team included Mo Hammond and more than £100 was raised for each of the Captains Charities.
