The fog cleared to leave a dry, warmish day for the members to play in Mike Norfolk’s Captain’s Day. The format was teams of 3 with 2 scores to count with a choice of hard and easy pins to go for on four holes. The hard pin positions counting double. The scores were excellent.
In 1st place with 97 points, winning on countback were Jo Rysdale, Sara Taylor and Jane Barrington.
In 2nd place also with 97 points were Sarah Shobrook, Jackie Mallett and Niki Wraight.
In 3rd place with 86 points were Vera Eade, Jane Rowse and Mandy Wright.
