SUMMER !!!! arrived at Perranporth today for the annual Guest Day. There were blue skies and plenty of grass on the course which was in excellent condition.
The Raffle which was in aid of the British Heart Foundation raised a total of £124. Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets and supplied the prizes.
24 Ladies invited friends from other clubs to play a Four ball Better Ball competition. The conditions made for good scoring.
There were 2 x 2’s Sue Pascoe on the 6th and Micah Carroll on the 16th. Each two received 24 balls.
In 1st place with 47 points was Mandy Wright and Alice Page (Royal North Devon )
In 2nd place with42 points on countback with a back nine of 23 points was Vera Eade and Judith Smith ( Bude)
In 3rd Place with 42 points with 21 on the back nine was Micah Carroll and Wendy Briggs ( St Mellion)
In 4th place with 41 points on a countback with 14 on the back 6 was Dawn Emmerson and Elaine Mc Corkhill ( Mullion)
In 5th place with 41 points and 13 on the back 6 was Lauren Hulston and Michelle Burgess ( Newquay)
After playing everyone was able to pick an enjoyable meal from the selection available. The bar staff kept everyone well supplied
