Summer had arrived in Perranporth for New Captain Jan’s drive in. Instead of her normal straight down the middle she fooled everyone by heading into the long grass over towards the 9th fairway.
Christine Fogarty won the chocolates by guessing nearest. The Drive in raised £50.50p for Jan’s charity Bosom Buddies.
The format of the competition was first 6 holes Greensomes the next 6 holes Foursomes and individual Stableford with both scores counting for the last 6 holes.
1st Lauren Hulston and Jacquie Lang with 51 points
2nd Vera Eade and Jane Barrington 49 points
3rd Jane Rowse and Christine Fogarty with 47 points
