There was scorching weather for the Quarter Final of the Gammon between Perranporth and Carlyon Bay at Truro Golf Club. The course was dry and bouncy but the golf was very good. The matches were all played in good spirit and some were very close.It was a little nail biting for quite a while but the team prevailed.
Jan won 1 up having had to win the last two holes, Nikki lost on the 18th, Fiona won 1 up, Jo lost earlier, Lauren won 6 & 4,
Jackie won 4&2 and Vicky won 4 &3.

In the other matches St Enodoc beat Falmouth, West Cornwall beat Truro and Mullion beat China Fleet.
The Semi Final will be between Perranporth and Mullion and St Enodoc and West Cornwall on 11th August . The venue will be posted when it’s known.
