24 Ladies played in sunny but blustery conditions.There was an added dimension to the EWGA Medal with the optional addition of playing an extra 9 holes to compete for the Challenge Cup. The 27 hole Challenge cup was won by the Lady Captain , Jan Sargeant with a total of 111. beating Debbie Douglas by half a shot.
In 1st place Silver, on countback with a net 73 was Vicky Lee Comyn
In 2nd place, also with a net 73 was Jenny Potter
In 3rd place with a net 74 was Bev Vann
The Best back 9 Silver was Jane Wragg with net 34
In Bronze the field was compact. In 1st place with a net 75 was Debbie Douglas
In 2nd place with a net 77 was Birgitta Varcoe
The Best Back 9 in Bronze was Julie Hamblen with a net 38.5
Jane Rowse played her Vice Presidents semi final of the West Division at Tehidy against Pamela Stanley but unfortunately after a very good and tight match she came second on the 18th. Well done Jane for getting so far.
