The warm weather continued for Guest Day. The format was Better Ball and everyone enjoyed the day both on and off the course.

In 3rd place also on countback with 40 points (20 on back 9) was Dawn Emmerson & Liz Shone
In 4th place also with 40 points ( 17 on back 9) was Karen Furness & Shane Lyon
Nearest the pin on the 6th for the members was Dawn Emmerson (30 ins but no 2!!!!) and Shane Lyon( 9.75 inches) for the visitors.
Nearest the pin on the 18th with 2nd shot for the members was Jo Rysdale (3ft 11ins) and Sue Ofield ( 7ft 5ins) for the visitors.

Joan scored a two, but had not entered the sweep as she usually does, as she felt she never gets a gross 2. A consolation ball was presented, which just goes to show, that just when you think you can’t get a 2 you prove yourself wrong and get that elusive two
