The skies had run out of rain so everyone stayed dry but were all more than a little windswept. The format of the competition was a 2 scores to count betterball, with the addition of everyone on each tee, drawing a ball from the bag and whoever drew the Golden ball their score counted double. This made for some big scores.
In 1st place and winning the Clarinda Letcher Trophy with 107 points was Joan Hurst, Anne Tomlin and Danielle Price.
In 2nd place on countback with 102 points was Vera Eade Vicky Lee Comyn and Jenny Potter
In 3rd place also with 102 points was Karen Greenwood, Karen Furness and Angie Chapman.
Bev Vann guessed nearest to where Lady Captain Jacquie’s drive finished and won the prize.
£24 was raised by donation for Jacquie’s charity, The Cornwall Air Ambulance.
