Perranporth played the home league match against Falmouth on Friday. The forecast was for potentially some damp weather but brightening by lunchtime. How wrong they were. Everyone started in light misty conditions. This turned to rain and then the fog came in and everyone had to leave the course. After a shortish delay, play continued and we were all to enjoy the blue skies and sunshine that arrived a little later than expected.
The overall result was 6.5 – 0.5 A very good win for Perranporth.
Vicky won, Vera halved, Jenny won 4&2, Mandy won 1up, Nicky won 5&3, Lynne won 5&4 and Jill won 7&5.
