Lady Captain Mandy hosted the Charity Coffee Morning in aid of her choosen charity Cornwall Blood Bikes.
The weather was not ideal with very strong winds and damp misty conditions. This didn’t stop the intrepid players venturing out and playing after they had enjoyed coffee, purchased some of the vast array of cakes and savory snacks and raffle tickets.
The morning was successful in raising £800 and together with the contribution of £200 from Royal Mail that Jo Rysdale had been able to secure, a total of £1,000 was collected for Cornwall Blood Bikes.
Mandy would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who worked hard to make sure that the day went well and all those players both home and visitors that played despite the challenging weather.
