26 Teams of 3 played the Perranporth Ladies Open Day Texas Scramble. Ladies from 12 Clubs and 7 members of the Royal Navy made up the teams. It was truly summer conditions at Perranporth with wispy rough, bouncy fairways and fast greens. The weather could not have been better with blue skies and sunshine and just a welcome breeze every now and then.
The scores reflected this. There were two holes in one. Emily Toy scored her hole in one on the 16th and Danielle Price scored hers on the 4th.
In 1st place and winning the Open Day Trophy with a net 61.6 taking off just 1.4 were Emily Toy, Dawn Emmerson and Jo Rysdale.
In 2nd place with a very good net 62.1 taking off just 0.9 were Danielle Price, Olivia Trewhela and Victoria Pawley.
In 3rd place witha net 62.7 was Angie Chapman, Nikki Hodge and Shane Lyon.
In 4th place with a net 63.3 was Sue Roworth, Caroli be Phillips and Katie Sandow.
In 5th place with a net 64.2 was Hazelle Garton, Becky Brown and Jenny Potter.
In 6th place with a net 64.4 was Jane Barrington, Mandy Wright and Kathy Wells.
In 7th place with a net 65.8 was Sophie Perriam , Nikki Wade and Kath Allen.
The Best all Visiting team was Cath Hopkins, Wendy Briggs and Suzanne Courtney with a net 66.1
Best Front 9 with 33 was Sarah Shobrook, Karen Whitby and Caroline Theyer
Best Back 9 with 35 and countback on the last 6 holes was JaneWragg, Pat Rose and Rosie Wakely.
There was a very well supported raffle in aid of the Lady Captains raffle , The Starlight Foundation. Thank you everyone for your support.
