Cornwall took on Somerset on day 4 of the match week. The morning foursomes were very close with two halved matches but Cornwall came through with a win in the last match to be 2 – 1 up at lunchtime.
Sarah Jane and Sammy halved, Jan and Georgia halved and Rachael and Eugenie won 2 & 1.
In the afternoon Cornwall were more dominant with Sarah Jane winning 1Up, Sammy halved, Georgia won 4&3, Eugenie won 6 7 4, Emily won 3 & 2 and Nikki lost 3 7 2.
Overall the result was a win for Cornwall 6.5 to Somersets 2.5
