BRONZE SHIELD at Launceston 29th June 2022

Teams of 4 from 18 Club’s competed in the Bronze Shield at Launceston. Despite a fuel spill on the A30 causing disruption and delays everyone got round the 18 hole Medal.

The team event which is the Aggregate score of the best 3 players from each club was won by Perranporth team of Jacquie Lang, Karen Daubney, Nicola Oddy and Rosie Broger- Bareham with a score of 224 ahead of Tehidy on 227 and West Cornwall on 228. Well played Perran girls and thanks to the Caddies, Ian, Jan,Nova and Debbie. They couldn’t have done it without you!

Winning the Andrews Bowl for the best gross score was Kim Pellow from West Cornwall with a gross 97 one shot ahead of Karen Daubney from Perranporth on 98 and two ahead of 3rd place Maggie Mortimer from Tehidy Park on 99.

The best Handicap score went to Jacquie Lang Perranporth with a nett 70.Second place Handicap was Brenda Arch from Falmouth with a nett 72 on countback ahead of Linda Cuff from Lanhydrock also with a nett 72
