A busy month started with the Carnival Cup on the 2nd July, which was won by Niki Wraight with a net 68?
Cara Rowe scored a net 71 on count back from Jackie Mallet also scoring a net 71. Jenny Potter and Sally Andrew scored net 72 with Jo Rysdale on net 73.
On the 9th July we played the FourBall Cups which was won by Vicky Lee Comyn and Debbie Douglas with 45 points. This was the Ping qualifier.
2nd place with 44 points was Jo Rysdale and Dawn Emmerson
3rd place also with 44 points was Vera Eade and Nicola Oddy.
On the 12th the ladies eligible for the Twilight Trophy played and Jacquie Lang continued her good form to win the Twilight Trophy with 42 points.
In 2nd place was Anna Sendall with 37 points.
On the 16th we played the West Briton Bowl Medal with Jacquie Lang winning with a net 72.
In 2nd with a net 74 was Karen Greenwood
In 3rd with a net 75 on countback was Nicole Oddy.
In 4th also with a net 75 was Heather Johnston.
The 23rd saw us playing in Presidents Day. This competition was a team event with each team having a Devil ball, which scored double. Once lost no more double points holes. This proved to be essential to getting a winning score
In 1st place was Mo Hammond, Niki Wraight, Sue Carveth and bridie O’Hagàn with 115 points
In 2nd place with 107 points as Mandy Wright, Karen Furness, Kath Allen and Hilary Pryor.
On the 30th July we played a Stableford and Hilary Pryor continued her good form winning with 41 points.
In 2nd place with 40 points was Mandy Wright.
In 3rd place with 39 points was Jo Rysdale
In 4th place with 38 points was Jacquie Lang
In 5th place with 37 points was Kim Hawkey
