Newquay in the Summer, rain, rain and quite a bit of wind. Teams from 19 clubs played the 36 hole foursomes medal in trying conditions.
The winner of the Baron Bowl with a net 151 was Sarah Jane Boyd and Natalie John of Truro
In 2nd place with a net 152 was Jenni Hosen and Anna Sendal of Truro
In 3rd place with a net 153 was Carmel Connors and Sue Short of Falmouth
The Team Trophy was won by Falmouth with a combined total of 470
Perranporth were 2nd with 481 and Truro 3rd with 482
In the AM prizes in 1st place with a net 71.5 were Rebecca Gush and Pandora Geddes of Mullion
in 2nd place with a net 72 were Suzanne Courtenay and Charlotte Britton of Bude
In 3rd place with a net 72.5 were Anne Evans and Gill Cattran of West Cornwall
In the PM prizes in 1st place with a net 72.5 were Meg Godfrey and Shannon Ashcroft from St Enodoc
In 2nd place with a net 74.5 were Fiona Polklington and Sue Phillips of Newquay
In 3rd place with a net 79.5 were Jan Sargeant and Jenny Potter of Perranporth.
There were 3 two’s. Fiona Polklington and Carol Ryder had 2 two’s. There were 2 dozen balls for each two.
